Can you imagine that if you look around, you can see only snow; only deer and Yamal-Nenets nation can survive in the woods, and at night one can hear only wolves howling under the stars. All this is tundra where I spent the first two years of my life. When I got back to Kiev, the first thing, which shocked me, was green grass covering the airport territory. But most of all I was shocked by odd, small, crawling creatures. Later on I found out that they were called insects.
My mum’s saucepans and spoons were my first musical instruments which were applied not only as utensils, but also as drums and percussions. Then there was another thing which at first didn’t interest me very much. It creaked loudly and it was unlike other cool attributes of kitchen. Then this went on for a few struggling years, when at last this violin soul expressed the music of Vivaldi, Viotti, Mozart… Soon music became my main hobby and in a few years I have been playing with different consorts, duets, pop music band and so on.
In a short while this wonderful instrument was substituted for another one – a big one with a bunch of odd buttons - musical mixer panel. I started learning sound production. My first experience of sound production was with a Kiev rock band “Kite”. Also in a couple of months I started creaking on a violin to accompany front man Timofei. Heavy guitar reefs, loud drum set and Timofei's rock-and-roll vocal was all the time on the way of sharp creaking.
Quite soon I started playing with avant-guard and interesting band “AtmAsfera”.
